House fire October 2014; Aviva Insurance assigned ServiceMaster (Newmarket) to do work.

Other Contractors figured 5-6 weeks for work to be completed, Insurance company said I would be back in my home within 3 months.

We are now over 9 months since the fire and ServiceMaster is a long way from completing their work. A lot of the work that they did needed or needs to be redone/fixed; they continually make excuses as to why the work is not done. The truth being that they are not doing their job and a lot of their work is subpar (inferior). Lanny (ServiceMaster) stated that ServiceMaster pays a kickback to Aviva for work they receive. Homeowners secondary accommodation allowance from their insurance company was used up a long time ago so we are paying for these expenses while ServiceMaster provides poor workmanship and drags their heels. Homeowners are spending their own money to fix the house so that they can get into their home before 2020.
